Hey all,

I have, beside my 4K footage, some 2.7 footage. I want to make a clip that contains both footage. How can I make it a decent clip without quality loss and how to export?

Started with a 4K sequence and just dropped the 2.7K footage in it. Also, when I put a crop preset on it and put it on 10% on the top and bottom, it covers more of the 4K footage than it does with the 2.7K. Kinda confused now.

Cheers.

I think that the only way is to make entire clip in 2.7K. The quality would be acceptable and for 4K not much worse. By my experience the 4K res. brings the important difference on big screen while on computer monitor up to size 24

Sorry to sent unfinished post.
I wanted to say, that the 4K resolution makes big difference on big screens whyle on computer monitors not so much.
I often shoot video at 4K and then made film on 2K and is OK. If you need the professional level then you go all in 4K.

Big thanks for replying, will try it tonight and will let you know! Also, framerates also differ. 4K is 60 fps and 2.7K about 50 fps if I remember well. So making a sequence in 2.7K 50 fps should solve it all in that case?
