  I’d like to use the editing software in the Go app on my iPad mini 3.  Is there a faster way to get footage downloaded to the iPad.?

Lower resolution?  The higher graphic quality the larger the file.  Thats the only way I can think of.

Kano is right about that. And please note that you can not download the videos which exceed 1080p.
