Good Afternoon,
First off, my std3 is my first ever drone and i have only had 1 small flight so far and I have read the manual 4/5 times.
My first flight went great but ever since i have had problems with the app.  I only ever see a screen with the camera feed on and 4 icons (switch vid/pic, red record, setings and play) but i am unable to click any of them (I don't know how to add screen shot, sorry)
and not the 'flight' screen with the options on like i did on my first and only flight.  I am on the latest firmware

Delete and reinstall the GO app and see if this works, also, what kind of device are you using?

I'm using the Phantom 3 Standard and have re-installed the app a couple of different times now

I get the 'flight' screen if i turn the app and controller, but as soon as the Phantom 3 turns on it defaults to the screen above

I meant what kind of phone, or tablet.

Sorry, iPhone 6 plus on latest iOS

It should be working well with that. Try turning on the p3s first, but this shouldn't make any difference.   Weird thing

Turn the RC on first then the AC and last the mobile(choose WIFI SID of the Phantom) and Go app.

Keep an eye on this thread too.

This is all very weird. Maybe the mods can weigh in.  Seems to be isolated and something new.

Tried your suggestion. Still doesn’t work. Frustrating.. not impressed with DJI

Same problem here. My iPhone 6 works perfect but my new 7 plus does just what you say above. iOS 11.1.2, latest firmware and app is updated. Not happy!!

Sometimes it is necessary when updating an App/SW/FW to complete the process by shutting down the iPhone/Pad completely and do a cold start (reboot).

Hi all, the users who have this issue, I appreciate if you could do me a favour: please help to name the app you are using (DJI GO/DJI GO 4), name the app's version and the mobile device you are using, would like to collect the info. Thank you so much.

Glad that you got it worked at the end, and hope it also helps others. And our engineers were aware of this issue and will get it fixed soon.

Brenty: I have done a ton of research today across all threads and found this issue is affecting all products using dji go and dji go 4 so it is an app issue caused by the update. I also noticed the most common thread is the fact that everyone with the issue is running a plus sized phone.

Here is my response from DJI this morning (26th November 2017)

“We are aware of this issue, our engineers are working on it now, will fix it in the next update.”

Although my check if it’s plus size only:

“I don't think this is related to the size, anyway, the engineers are working on it now, please be patient, will fix it soon.“

So yes, don’t waste time messing about with settings, just wait for the update and borrow another device if you can: I have my old iPhone 6 I was about to sell but a cheapo Android might work for now.

I generally named an app with short name and complete versions number,will it be enough?

Just confirmed this:

iPhone 6 with iOS 11.1.2 - works

iPhone 7 with iOS 11.1.2 - works

iPhone 7+ with iOS 11.1.2 - does not work

From dji: “Thank you so much, will forward this to the engineers.”

Guys,
I’ve updated my app and it’s working now.
The only problem is that I’m getting a critical low voltage warning on both batteries which are full.
Can anyone check if it’s only me getting this warning?

Try to refresh the app when it happens

Force to stop the app and make a new start of it. If that not helps then make a new start of your mobile device.
