The road to Hana has the best spots for flying a drone. Make sure you stay 1 day or else everything will be rushed. Also, Kaanapali beach and Makena beach. They don't let people fly at Molokini crater while in tour, one way to get there is fly from Makena to Molokini in the am so that there is no wind. Also there are rangers that will give you ticket in Haleakala National Park, so you can only fly at Crater road which is not part of the park. Good luck! Feel free to ask me any questions.

We went November and it wasn't really windy. Much windier in Iceland for sure, lol.

We lived in Oahu for 9 years... We flew to the different Islands all the time and go back to them every 2 years for vacation and to re-connect with our friends and the islands ...am sooo looking forward to brining my Mavic Pro to Maui and Oahu this upcoming summer....great video! , thanks for sharing
