I can no longer use mavic pro after firmware update: Firmware: v01.04.0100 DJI GO 4 App Android: v4.1.18 !! the video is broken, the application hangs / runs slowly. I tried both smartphones: lg v10 --- huawei p8. Until the update worked impeccably! Can not I Downgrade?!?!? I urge urgent help to DJI

I am updating one or two months later if I see a need for myself in the new features. So far still on .900 with my Mavic. (For goggles implementation). I’m in no need for all the spark features  on the Mavic atm. And I just like to be able to tweak my bird at my wish. Build date last December.

I had the same issue, Support want to send Mavic back. Many tickets here in forum, so read about it. Problem isn´t your smartphone!! It is the worse APP, so roll back to 4.1.15 via apkmirror.com and everything will be fine. Turn off the autoupdate function

I rarely used the different modes, I just love to fly. I went against my golden rule and updated last night now I’m nervous. Fingers crossed

Install a previous version of the app. The issue is on the app.

I returned to android 4.1.15 and came back to normal. It's something about video on the phone. at 4.1.18 if we set the camera at 720/24 fps it works perfectly. as we climb to 2.7k / 4k the image is broken and the application goes very slowly

I have same problems with the new software update. Runing on a LG G4,  6.0 as android version. Rolled back to v4_4.1.15 as #8 said, and all problems gone!  

My first post and is because of problems.... finger up for the user who has posted the solution, finger down for the software engineers of DJI ...

I updated yesterday with no troubles whatsoever.

Same here..updated my Mavic... Now no flying for me until DJI fixes...very sad..  

Also same problem for me. Updated Mavic and RC firmware to 1.04.0100 and DJI GO 4 app (android) to 4.1.18. Video latency went to around 5 seconds with terrible video quality. Tablet was also getting very hot.

Reverted to DGO GO 4 rev 4.1.15 and back to normally reasonable video quality with about 1 second latency.

In defense of DJI, I would expect they run an app before they release it (they would have obviously noticed it if it ran as badly as what I saw and what is in the screen shots above). From many other threads, the DJI GO app releases each use more and more phone or tablet cpu and video processing - that's why they get so hot - and at some point video's no good, the app is slow or it disconnects and crashes. Bad news for us with older devices although people report problems with new ones as well. The GO app is a battery hog, too, and is probably not very well optimized software.

I had e exactly the same problem.  See my post regarding corrupt video and sluggish response.

It's the app that's the problem, jot the firmware.  I rolled back the app on my smart phone to v4.1.10 and it's gone back to bring fine.

confirm! the latest firmware with 4.1.10 works fine. just do not pano mode. does not bother me. flight drone with video camera, not camcorder with propeller!

I just received dji mavic alpine white and there is a same problem , I have v4.1.10 and use Samsung s7 edge

Thanks. I also had the same issues. Roll back to 4.1.15 seems to work for me too. I still need to make a test flight though.

I download latest dji go 4 apps 4.1.18 in my samsung galaxy tab A8 (android nought 7.1.1). While connect to rc and mavic.. apps is is flashing/blinking cant open. Dji pls look/solve this problem or anyone can help me?

I to have the same problem after the last update which means I cant use the MP. I'm reading many threads on this but no answer from DJI
think its about time DJI sorted it

Man so many reported issues with the new software update. How can DJI roll out such upgrades without ensuring it is stable before releasing. Peoples investments and safety are not a concern to DJI.

This is the same problem I am facing

New user with the same problem.  Looks there are two potential solutions.  How can the camera be set at 720/24 fps as suggested.  If that doesn't work, can someone tell me how to roll back to v4.1.15.

in many updates, bugs were found ... but it looks like the latest update is a catastrophe! I hope the DJI team will fix the application urgently! too many users are affected

Here is my tribute to this recent problem with this update
Samsung Edge S7 and HTC m8. All works before this recent update running android 7.0 and 6.0 respectively.

Thanks to tip from user Fitschi I downgraded the Android app to version 4.1.15
After downgrade everything works fine. It is NOT the firmware upgrade giving problems, it is the app.
I used apkmirror,com to revert to V 4.1.15 . Make sure to set your phone to allow download from unknown sources through the settings menu.
Hope DJI will fix this soon.
