Notes:

• DO NOT turn off the remote controller and aircraft or exit the DJI GO app during the update process.
• Restart the aircraft and remote controller after upgrade is complete.
• If the firmware upgrade fails, restart aircraft, remote controller and DJI GO, and retry.
  

Im using version 3.1.23 ... ANY ADVICE ?

Please steps to download the new firmware.  i suppose through the app before ... isnt it?

size of the update should be in the characteristics to know how much time it will take us to download it

Actually is DJI Go before 4 app but is not DJI Go 4 app.

Haha. But I was wondering if DJI have found an issue with update reliability. In which case me may see that replicated to other models, like the P4.

My DJI Spark got this " Battery Signal Error " each time i turn it on.. can'y fly this thing at all. please help

thx developers! (sarcasm) after this firmware my p3se flying max in high 60m and in long 100m. always write: transmitter signal lost and image always lost and crushed. (including black screen)

I was already afraid of that. At this moment I am very satisfied with the functioning of my P3SE and am not yet convinced that I need a new firmware.

I see with the DJI firmware updates more and more victims who are limited in the possibilities. Perhaps someone can convince me that it is not.

same problem here  .... two days ..from firmware update

Next firmware i want to see more quick shot. It very easy and safety for control.

I done the update but not yet go for test fly because my site here raining day.....

I have not been aware at any time of the FW update of my phantom 3 SE ... Although I know it is updated because the app and the log bookmark me the current version.

How to do phantom 3se remote contorller firmware update?

DJI you totally messed it up with last update!!!! This is unacceptable, now my phantom keeps losing connection from remote controller at less than 20 meters over my head! What is this??? You left me with a very expensive decorative toy, a piece of garbage, my son's syma x5c has better range than my phantom! And don't come telling about country regulations and bla bla bla because this was not the deal. I didn't spend almost 500€ in a drone to fly it inside home or in the backyard at 30-50 meters from my position, understand? Revert this mess asap or take the responsibility of your decisions and give me a refund for the amount I paid for this thing!  

I have a phantom 3 se after update 1.5.40 m

After updating to 1.5.40 my dron barely reaches 500m. I could fly 2200m without any problems before. I think this is a problem for which the dad could try and rescue. I do not want to be restricted to flying.

Downgrade back to previous version V1.3.20
1. Download V1.3.20 firmware
2. Take out the sdcard from gimbal insert to PC format it.
3. Insert the firmware file (P3SE_FW_V01.03.0020.bin) into root of sdcard.
4. Eject from PC and insert back to gimbal.
5. Power on the Remote Control.
6. Use Android/IOS device wifi connect to Remote Control as usual.
7. Run DJI Go App, just stay at main page on go apps. (Do not touch the CAMERA button).
8. Press and hold the aircraft linking button at the same time power on the aircraft and wait until the first gimbal beeper sound then only release the linking button.
9. Wait for the firmware update/downgrade.....look at your android/IOS device for the update status.
10. After 100% update success, power off all (Remote Control, Aircraft, Go Apps) and take out the sdcard but into format then insert back to gimbal.

You are now done the firmware update/downgrade.

This upgrade of the firmware is scandalous!!now I just can fly at 40 meters!before it was 1km500!I haven't bought a 600€ drone to fly at only 40m!!

One solution is : Downgrade to previous version v 1.3.20

I'm afraid there is not a solid solution for this problem yet...

Downgrade DOES NOT fix the problem by any means, I tried downgrading firmware (the one linked above and previous) and there was not ANY improvement.

Tried previous versions of dji go app too, with no results.

The only thing you can do is to "cheat" your phone so that it thinks you are in a FCC area with one of those fake gps applications, it kind of works, not every time but somewhat works and at this time it is the only solution.

My theory is that the update messed the remote control, the problem lies in the remote control and we have no firmware that fix this, once updated to last firmware there is no way back. Not an easy one at least by now.
