  I have a Phantom 2 that I am using with my GoPro Hero 3+ Silver edition. I mounted my iPad Mini to the remote before I did a lot of research. As most of you may know and now I know it is NOT recommended using wifi for live streaming from the GoPro. If I buy the FPV equipment can I use my iPad mini as the monitor or do I have to buy a monitor?

For those who dont know I discovered that when you use a wifi connection with you GoPro and it loses connection the drone will go into safe mode and return home which will not allow you to gain control until it has landed.

I have not come across an FPV setup using an iPad as a monitor except for Lightbridge.
