I'm a rookie as well.   I like them.  Seems like the more I learn, the more I realize I don't know much.

Hey great shots. It looks like you've got access to some interesting locations. Try some straight down shots, I'm always facinated by how different views look when looking directly down from above. Keep up the good work.

Welcome to the club dude!

# 4 is the best. You took advantage of the sun by positioning the drone in front of it. Also your horizon is a little bit tilted so try calibrating the gimbal using the AUTO CALIBRATION. BUT OVER ALL GREAT JOB, read up on exposure a little and like you said practice practice practice!

As an artistic photo I like #2 the best. Find an application like Lightroom (or there are free programs like GIMP and many less professional free photo processing apps). Then you can start playing with your pictures to your hearts content, even if you don't like what came directly out of the drone camera.

I have GIMP installed and will give it some hours to learn more.

What about any free video editing tool, any good open software out there?

Well if you can play with GIMP for photos, you might as well use DaVinci Resolve for your video.  It's also free and you can do a lot with it and a lot with colors and tones. Both of those programs have some learning curves, but lots of online tutorials. I use Lightroom for most of my photos; the stand alone program was $100+. Photoshop has been too expensive to justify and I don't like the idea of Adobe's monthly charged licenses. I use GIMP and Luminance for playing around with photos and for HDR effects.

We all started as rookies, looks like you have some cool places to practice.

Great works! They look gorgeous. And for my personal point of view, it would be nice if the structure of the fist pic would be adjusted a little. Practice more and I believe you will get more beautiful pics.

Where can you get a free version of DaVinci resolve, the d/load I have requires an activation key?

Great tips, I have downloaded it and used it short. Seems like a highly competent software.
