Let's hope not, but it just gives FAA more ammunition to be tougher on drone laws and it affects the regular joe blow hobbyist like us.

What we need is an amendment in our constitution that allows the right to fly drones.  Then people would screw that up and people would never question our rights.  Responsible owners would never have to worry. NDA?

You can fly but keep safety first, fun second and obey the law.

Simple, everyone should call out any reckless drone pilot on this forum or anywhere else, because their stupidity and reckless behavior it infringing on all the rest of us to fly and have fun.

He had it coming.

I live just a few miles from the Santa Clara stadium.  Locally, it's well known that the city of Santa Clara forbids drones over that stadium.  Also, planes taking off from the San Jose airport fly right over that stadium, and it's only a couple of miles from the end of the runways.   This guy knew he was breaking the law, didn't care.  

It only takes one to ruin it for the whole bunch. Unfortunately we're seeing more and more boneheads!

I surely hope not...   There are plenty of stupid people out there that don't have any common sense and do not abide by the law.

Grr...it only takes a few of these events and we are all done for.  

I wonder what drone they were using.  DJI has a NFZ on stadiums correct?  Was this drone really over the stadium? This is FOXNEWS........

It will be interesting to know what kind of drone was used.

Feel pity about the bad news. I think users should be responsible for their behavior and prevent their drone from causing accidents.
