Moto G4, works very well on the .15 update without any lag for most part.   not so well on the .18 update, corrupted video.  if experience lag on it, either disable video caching or find a much faster micro SD card to use and cache to that.

LG V10, no issues or lag to report  on .15 or .18, just runs hot and drains fast on either or...

In the past I had communications with the DJI  Moderators about getting OnePlus devices added to the approved device list and they indicated that this was happening, but I still do not see it and I had great experience with my Oneplus3 before I moved to iPhone.

it is almost sketchy how dji doesn't list why the device list is so short or what the requirements are for getting approved.

they could just make it clear cut.  like this |AS AN EXAMPLE|

min requirements:  2.0 GB ram, Snapdragon 625 CPU (Or equal),  Andriod Marshmellow, 1024x720P resolution (16:9)

Tested/recommended spec: 4.0GB ram, Snapdragon 835 CPU, Android Nougat, 1920 x 1080 (16:9)

potentially conflicting: Unpatched Marshmallow, 21:9/18:9 aspect ratios, CPUs below Snapdragon 600 series, resolutions above 2560x1440P, refresh rates beyond 60Hz

sony experia z3 - flew 2 batteries successfully with most recent v.18 loaded last night 1 dec 2017. i did experiance only 1 problem issue - drone disconnected once when it was about 30m up and about 200m in front of me. Fortunately did return to home - but why the disconnect?
Otherwise all previous issues i had, eg lagging, poor image quality, data lag, inconsistent battery level indicators etc - were not a problem in todays flight.

Galaxy tab A7 (SMT 280)
Flew 2 batteries after updating to the last .18 (29/11), no signal after around 10 sec, impossible to get video signal back
Mavic unusable like that, had to roll back to .09 again

I have a Google Pixel, 1st gen (not the XL). Updated to 4.1.18 two days ago and again today. No issues s far. I have *not* had a chance to fly with the latest version so I can't report issues or lack of issues at this time. I will report back when I have a chance to fly.

Updated the app 28 Nov. We're beginners that had complete disconnect on the 2nd flight, just a couple of feet off the ground luckily. Going to try the update on a Google Pixel 2 XL, barely fits the RC. Hope to have a good report later today.

My Galaxy S7 Edge on T-mobile is saying its not compaitable with DJI GO 4 App ....anyone else has the same issue ??

I went flying today with the latest Go4 app and the latest firmware.

For the first flight I set the timeout on my phone to 1 minute. During flight the app disconnected quite a few times, more than normal. Usually, when it disconnects, it reconnects quickly. Today, it would stay disconnected for a few minutes.

For the second and third flights, I put the phone in airplane mode and used a different cable to connect my phone to the controller (USB-to-USB-C). I didn't lose connection one time.

In hindsight, I wish I would have tired flying with the different cable, not in airplane mode *and* DJI cable while in airplane mode. It may have helped determine the disconnect issues.

Either way, I'm pretty pleased that I am able to fly with no disconnects using the latest firmware and Go4 app.

S8+ works great for guys with lower end devices google play pushed out another dji go 4 update today 28th smae version # as last 4.1.18 but new update. Hearing its fixing transmission problems

I'm about to buy a S8 Plus or S8 + DJI go 4 works with the Mavic well with the update of the 29/11/2017 4.1.18 please confirm thank you greetings.

Huawei Mediapad M3 works perfectly.

All on latest 4.1.18 lag fix update.

my samsung galaxy tab4  version 5.1.1 has worked for the year, now with the latest
dji update the tablet will not open the dji app. tried uninstall re-install numerous time,
nothing, cleaned off tablet nothing. only used of the phantom 4 drone.

Just purchased a Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 model 713. I can use it in wifi mode but it will not connect when I use the RC controller. Got any ideas?

                                    this tablet has the flashing usb notice that you cant quite catch. i have noticed that if i run litchi ( had to remove dji go4 to run litchi)  then shut off the tablet the next time i start it will connect,,,, most of the time. i left it with a geek yesterday ill let you know if he was able to fix the usb issue. yes it works and you can fly with it. i have not tried the latest dji upgrade. i dont want to make a drone that works into one that does not. but gee what if this fixes it?  well if i cant roll back to the version that i know works,,,,, are we having fun yet? i cant tell

Acer Iconia  7" tablet working really well, no lags, no dropouts, great picture. So much better than my Samsung phone.
If anyone goes for the Acer, seems you have to be sure to get the one with- MedTek processor
Great little tablet, that will just squeeze into Mavic;s little arms- all for 85 bucks Canadian.

I just got an LG V30. Pretty reliable so far with app version 4.1.22 on Android 7.1.2. i had one instance of the app crashing mid-flight, but was able to restart the app and start flying again mid-flight.

someothers report that it works well you should ceck the app version and the cable maybe turn on debug option

I have used a Samsung J7 smartphone with GO & GO4 apps for Phantom 3 pro and Mavic Pro  for more than a year now with no issues at all.
The J7 is not a supported device, at the time I bought it.
Great features are very bright screen. 450 nits and massive replaceable battery.
I only have a few apps installed and i have moved all data and  apps that can be moved onto a SD card.
All running apps are killed off before running GO4.
All cache and still/video copies from the previous flight are removed from internal memory.
This is to maximise internal memory. An essential thing to do if you are to avoid software crashes and probably drone crashes.
Many non-professional apps written by amateurs are the cause of device issues due to unpredictable memory management in the device (those by brand name companies are unlikely to cause problems).
All drone and device updates are installed as they are available. I always check that the drone/controller update was completed and confirmed. A partial update or corrupted one may or may not work.
