Hello everyone out there,


I have a P4 and 2 P3's and I just stepped into the world of the Mavik. I travel alot, so it'll be easier to carry aboard the plane in a carry-on. I have no idea what to expect with the Mavik, since it has not arrived, but I wondered if anyone has some do's and dont's that I should have read before I started 5 years ago with the Phantoms.


Any help with setting up, camera settings, how to use a tablet instead of an Iphone, etc. would be very helpful.

Are you suggesting to keep the firmware where it is when I receive it from DJI?

If the new Mavic has FW Version 01.04.0000 or earlier installed I would keep it there until more bugs get washed out of the latest update. I'm running 01.04.0000 with no problems so far.
