That may be your problem. If DJI has you take a test, you need to take the test. If you are informed enough to fly their product, then you will be allowed to fly their product if you pass their test. If you try everything to avoid the test, you may not be allowed to fly. I have no idea how it plays out.
What I do know is that if you try to avoid something that DJI wants you to do, you will have problems. We have enough problems learning this cutting edge technology as it is.
Have you read the manual yet? Very helpful! There is also a manual on this Forum in the right-side column about the DJI GO 4 app. Very good resource to learn how to fly the Phantom.
