OK, I'm playing stupid again here in my quest to understand the overall Osmo landscape.  What's the  difference between the X3 camera that came on my Osmo+ and the Z3 camera?  The spec's seem to be identical.  Better optics in the Z3 than X3?  Smoother zoome or gimble motion?  

z3 has zoom, x3 does not. Slightly better optics.

I thought every osmo + has zooming capabilities!

Jmrfoto, to be more specific, the camera in Osmo+ is called X3 Zoom. The camera with Inspire 1 is called Z3.
They have the same functions, but X3 Zoom is only compatible with Osmo, while Z3 is compatible with Osmo and Inspire 1.
