What happened to offline maps option?

Lately, Mavic upgrades/updates are causing a mess. Some people are reporting problems with Firmware v01.04.0100 and DJI GO 4 App v4.1.18 and now this, this useful feature is gone.

I noticed at least minor automatic updates (minor versions) on DJI Go 4 App 4.1.18, but I think we're still far from a better app.



That is sad, DJI.

I would like to see the off line maps again. It would also be good if we could download the latest firmware and fly safe database through the app without having to be connected to the drone. I'm travelling and finding wifi to do updates where I can also have the drone powered up is not always possible. If I have a weak wifi signal switching on the drone often kills the wifi signal!

We apologize for any inconveniences caused. We will make this feature available in the newer version as soon as possible. Thanks for your kind understanding.

Sorry my ignorance,  new with my Mavic.
What's the Crystal Sky?

Really need that offline download,  as I don't have data service in my phone.

When will the offline maps downloads,  will be available?  Very important to people without a mobile data service.

Yeah, coz the app in the CS is still v4.1.14 now, the offline map is temporarily removed on v4.1.18.

Good to know. I won´t be updating then. Even if I cant use my new silent props due to the new MP FW is buggy on the CS.

Just back/down rev the versio of GO. You can find it on the interwebs in a search.

So DJI fixed it so I can finally download it in the last version and now they just completely remove it? Great, looks like I'll be flying mapless in some areas.

As usual seems like DJI have forgotten us Crystal Sky users with the latest update, Go4 for the CS is running 4.1.14 as the latest app version, looks like this latest update requires G4 to have the 4.1.18 to operate.
CS users beware if you update to the latest FW release today we will probably have a "inconsistent Firmware issue" I will wait and stay right where I am, Thanks DJI !!!!

Hi sir, it is because the app in the CS is the optimized one, and it is updated along with the CS's firmware update. The time for the update might be a little late, but we had forwarded the requirement of the quick update of the CS to our engineers. They will do something about it. Thank you for your understanding.

For the guys that absolutely need offline for some things/tablets cant u also just hotspot your personal cellphone to tablet and cache maps that way? Then turn off hotspot the only way I guess it wouldnt have work is if you were in the middle of nowhere and had no cell reception

Sad, we are at 4.1.22 and the offline maps feature is still gone...
