Does anyone know if there is a battery tester available for the dji phantom 3 batteries. I would like to check condition as well as cell voltage and overall voltage with out having to put into the copter and boot everything up.

It wouldnt be as easy as just reading voltage the tester would have to be able to comunticate with the battery this would involve some form of processor and programing. And with random firmware upgrades on batteries it would possibly mean the tester would need an upgrade as well.
Is it possible?   Yes totally but im not aware of anyone that has made one yet

Hey there, I'm afraid that the battery tester is not available in the official website for now. Generally, a warning message will pop up in DJI GO if the battery goes wrong, no worries.

DJI have decided that you do not have access to balance lead - that is the lead that gives individual cell access. You can only gain info via GO and powering all up.

Testers for LiPo's are actually very cheap - cell checkers are as little as $2 or $3 ... and work well. Even LiPo chargers have ability to display individual cell voltages. A good programmable charger can be had for less than $30.

But as said - DJI have designed the battery in such way to prevent user access to the cells. You can only read the total voltage when switched on and via the power contacts with DVM. To read cells - back to GO and powering everything up.

Only if trying via the Battery telemetry contacts.

The DJI battery has two sets of contacts ... main flight power are the large ones ... then the two data power smaller contacts at side.
The battery has a balance lead that goes to the board and cell voltage / temperature is relayed via the board to the contacts which then is fed via 2.4Ghz WiFi back to controller and then to GO.

If the balance lead could be accessed - a $2 cell checker would give you the individual cell info needed, but you cannot get to the lead unless you break open the case.

Normal RC LiPo's - we check via balance lead as part of regular routine .. we use balance lead also to control charge and discharge to prevent cell damage ...

Thank you Nigel, I thought that I may have been asking for the impossible.
