Love the forum, great information but I seem like an outcast. I bought my Inspire 1 a month ago and have flown it around 20 times. In my brief tenure on the sticks flying the I1 I have had no problems, whatsoever. It does everything it is supposed to do. It came with prop locks, no waiting. When the new quick release prop locks came out I ordered them and they showed up in about 4 days, worked great. With excellent input from forum members I have learned to create some wonderful video. Actually, I am amazed at the quality of the video. From my personal experience, I would recommend the Inspire 1 to anyone.  I unadvisedly flew it in 20 mph wind, in the video you can see the trees moving wildly but the platform was motionless. My last video quad from xaircraft easily took 30-40 minutes to set up and the video monitor was on a tripod. It worked well but the DJI Inspire is so much better and so much easier to fly and the video, well, the horizon is flat and not like a hockey puck.  I certianly have empathy for those of you with issues but just wanted to put out there that this platform, in my experience, absolutly rocks! DJI has delivered what I thought I bought and they have exceeded my expectations.

That is great to hear. I was actually having the same experience but  mine is in the shop too. Nothing to do with any of the reported Inspire issues, just me not paying attention. My biggest gripe is DJI's lack of communication and the nonexistant evidence that they are trying to do anything about it. When you get an email from them stating this:

The ETA for repairs is approximately 4 - 6 weeks. Within that time frame phone or e-mail requests for status updates will not be entertained, as we can only provide you the information you already see when logging into Zendesk and these requests only serve to slow the process for others.

If a comany is selling a premium product for $3,000 that company should be set up to communicate with that customer efficiently. PERIOD.

VERY happy to hear that you are so happy with your bird and hope to be joing you soon. If I were you, I would sart looking for places to source parts so if that unfortunate day ever comes, you have a place to go rather than shipping it to California in a box.

I just went to my account and it shows that I order the quick release prop, I think that if you check your account you will see the same thing! they haven't sent me a tracking number but I am sure it will happen some time soon....

Same for me it performs ! No goofy problems so far just like my phantoms but way better.

Try multi copter warehouse or inteligent UAS online ... 1345 QR Props and the 1345 QR mounting hardware.

I love my Inspire . No real problems to speak of, a little GPS drop out but nothing I can't handle. She's fast. agile and a pleasure to fly.
