which is better to see in sunlight, tablet or fpv monitor?

I use the black pearl diversity monitor and its sun shade greatly helps in bright conditions. I also felt its brightness is greater than my android tab but if you're in direct sunlight then only a shade will help and even very high brightness devices can be hard to view in direct sunlight.

You're going to want some kind of sun shade no matter which device you pick.
Bright sun is just not conducive to viewing the screens...

Thanks, i'm using a tablet on a vision plus now.  Thinking of some way to connect a monitor instead.

im using a black pearl monitor with its default sun shade and have more visibility than using a tablet with full bright.
try using your ipad/android on exterior in a sunny day and youll notice how much you can see of the screen

i have a liliput HDMI monitor for whenever i get a lightbridge.
currently use a diversity monitor with its own shade.

there are loads of different shades online for tablets, phones , monitors etc.. but a shade is a must when outdoors in sunshine.

alas we dont buy many in Ireland, as theres aint much sun around
