App kept crashing recently when I was trying to use my Mavic Pro at the beach. Is this a common issue (I'm new at this) or should I just re-install the app as suggested by DJI Tech Support?

Try clearing your cache first...

Yes , try this: uninstall dji go app, upload new ios 11.2(so not using the 11.1.2) then install dji go app again. This should work. At least it worked for me using ipad4 mini

The ios 11.1.2 and app.18 doesnt work together very well, but 11.2 should be ok

Uninstalling works ONLY because it is clearing the cache. Please note, flight data can also be lost by uninstalling the app. This should ONLY be used as a last resort...

However, I completely agree that iOS 11.2 is far more stable with DJI Go 4 app. That being said, you shouldn't have to delete the app and risk losing flight data.

Its is not the cache ,but the ios 11.1.2.
Once again uninstall dji go app, update ios to 11.2 , install dji go app.18.and no app crashes anymore

I read a post somewhere , that after update 11.2 , still crashes. But try first then without uninstall, maybe it works for you. I believe dji engineers also fixed something in the.18 app for android users, you’ll never know , maybe it was also good for the ios.

Hi there, the crash is due to the iOS, it should be resolved with the iOS 11.2, please kindly update your mobile device to iOS 11.2 and then remove the app and install it again. Please note to do a backup like syncing the flight record and saving the pics and videos before your reinstallation.
If you are running iOS 11.2 now, please help to provide the name with the mobile device, the version of the app and your DJI account, as well as the crash logs. The crash logs of the app need to be exported by iTools, please install iTools on your computer----Toolbox----Advanced Features.
