Ordered a Meadow Green Spark Fly More combo when they went on sale for black Friday, but I can't open it until Christmas as it's a gift. So to prepare for when I actually get to fly it, I've been watching a ton of Spark YouTube videos and I thought this one was definitely worth sharing!

How do you embed youtube vids in this forum? Tried a few different approaches.

I don't know why this one does not work.
Normally it works just fine.

Maybe it is because of the Spark violence in the movie...

Hmmm, maybe it has something to do with me being a new member or something?

Anyway, the most interesting part for me is around 4:04 where the spark does a complete 360deg flip when it's hit by the other spark and stays in flight without shutting off the motors. I was happy to see that because I thought the motors would instantly shut off if the drone tilted at 90deg or greater. Fortunately it seems this needs to be a sustained condition for a couple seconds before the motors shut off.

Damn it hurts to see this guy mistreating the Spark the way he does, I guess Montfrooij is rigth...too much violence in the video.

Yes hard to watch, but nice to know these little guys can take a serious beating and still work properly! Any of this stuff would likely be game over for the Mavic and/or its gimbal.

After having watched it I feel guilty to have fixed the link. This is just insane and I do not recommend to repeat this at your home!

Oh man... I was literally flinching with each impact! As a brand new spark owner, this is brutal to watch. But, glad to know these things are robust I guess.

Awesome durability video of the spark and I baby my drones like crazy!!!

I think it's actually nice to see how durable these devices are!

I can see all the embedded videos :-)

I will not subscribe to that Youtube channel.

Actually I dont think that a "dogfight" of two drones is a realistic durability-test.
You should never be that close to other drones.

Checking durability in "this way" should be more something like flying against trees or walls. Not fighting another drone.

Later on they run it into a tree multiple times, and a brick wall, in sport mode. It survived all of that! Is that not amazing?

Also again the interesting part about the dogfight is where the spark gets hit, does a complete flip, and stays in the air. Gives me a little less fear of the motors cutting out instantly in case of a weird gust of wind or quick bird attack.
