That is all well and good, but should I/we be paying for their mistakes. It is not a concept generally accepted by my patients. Neither have I been informed about this in advance, which a matter of common politeness where I come from. I remain annoyed and wait to hear from a DJI representative.

Oh, we might hear about this.

I think they are tweaking the point system.
I now get 5 points per new thread instead of the 2 stated in the rules.

Yes I noticed that as well today, so I can probably expect another reduction.

Well i know for a fact ive never recieved 2 points per post so if this is the reason for removing points then im out of here enjoy your flying guys and maybe one day i might see you flying and come over and say hello.
If dji reinstate my points to were they should rightfully be then i will come back but untill then im out of here.

We will see how this develops

i got near 1000 points last  day  ....

guess they gave our points over to you then. Lost well over 1000 points.

Blast  I never took any notice of my points as I reckon they were as useful as a new update.
Maybe the points were lost as they were tweaking the system to create a useable index

It will be a while before I get that many points 407 to date

Hi ALABAMA, I have not recieved points for some time in this thread, and neither have I heard from a superviser, that seems pretty cowardly to me. It seems to be a case of principals, I may well have to stand on mine.

I'm sure they'll make some kind of announcement soon.  Their wheels turn pretty slowly, as you know.
Only thing I can think of is that forum rules say 1 point for reply and evidently 2 have been credited
for quite some time. In my opinion, if they are going to correct their error, then it should be started at scratch and not be retroactive.  What about all the points that have been redeemed and used for credits,
will they bill the customers for the discrepancy?

BTW,  I got clipped for over 1000 points

Obviously done a firmware update on their server PC :-)

My points are all over the place, so far I think I’ve gained but by how many I don’t know as I don’t check.

Interesting that no mod has joined in on this thread.

They took away 120 points from me as well.  Boooooooooo!!!!

Well I got 1 point for that and probably another 1 for this.

I just posted on another thread and didn't get points, is there now some sort of time limit between posts or number of posts that can earn points?

No, they changed the calculation of points for sure.
Until yesterday you got 2 points per reply (instead of the 1 stated in the rules / notification).
So that was a bug I guess.

First they took away our titles and gave us "levels"
Now they take away our points.
What next... our flight distance?

Still no points awarded and checking even the 2 points for those 2 replies have not been added, however no-one has stolen any points but no-one has given me any either.

I’m sure glad 8 don’t have to sort this mess out, I got bumped up but I’m unsure how close i was to the next level before this happened.

Indeed, silence is sometimes the loudest noise of all.

Well, to be perfectly honest, I've never looked at my points and don't know what they're good for apart from elevating your status anyway. And I see "Captains" and "Officers" who post with some of the least useful input to newcomers, so status is not necessarily a good indication of wiseness. But, true - I wouldn't like to see my avatar reduced to newbie either, so let's hope that the DJI mods sort this out.
Oh, and don't get me started on the relevance of "flight distance" - only flights with DJI GO clock up distance, so that's hardly a gauge for experience either.
(oops - I got started... hehe)
