Is there a way to know when your bird was manufactured?

I asked the same question and DJI told me that the activation date was the only date they would provide. There used to be a serial number checker online but it was taken down recently unfortunately.

Well that’s unfortunate, how are you supposed know how long the battery sat on shelf without being charged?

I'd like to know how old my batteries are also. I'll still use them until they die.

Guess DJI just wants every drone to be "forever young".

Maybe it is also valid for Phantoms.

If you guys upload to Airdata it will show you the date of manufacture for the bird, batteries and a whole lot more.
