Hello StianGel, I believe this to be incorrect after doing a bit more digging. CPU-Z does report that we have a Rockchip RK3066 processor but this is incorrect.
- The RK3066 is a dual-core processor, the CS has a quad-core.
- The RK3066 is a very weak processor - it scores 1,602 on PassMark Android tests: https://www.androidbenchmark.net/phone.php?phone=Rockchip+rk3066
- When I run a PassMark on the CS it displays the following CPU data:
- Processor: ARMv7 Processor rev 1(v7l)
- Hardware: Rockchip RK3288
- Num cores: 4
- Core 0 - 3 Range: 126Mhz - 1608Mhz
- With the CS I get a PassMark score of 4,907, which is a little above average for the rk3288 but within reason: https://www.androidbenchmark.net/phone.php?phone=Rockchip+rk3288
Also, it looks like Rockchip themselves announced the CrystalSky as having their RK3288 chip. See: https://www.facebook.com/rockchi ... d-/586348574891730/
I was really surprised to see CPU-Z displaying bad CPU info as that has been my go-to tool for this kind of thing. I got suspicious when I looked up the RK3066 processor and saw how slow that chip is. Luckily we got the much faster RK3288.
BTW, here's a wikipedia article describing the RK3288. Specs line up with advertised capabilities.
That said, even though DJI and Rockchip advertise H.265 4K decoding, this is not currently working on CS using untouched video files captured my the DJI Mavic 2 Pro.
