Here's my latest offering, easily my most polished creation yet.. Of course couldn't have done it without the DJI Inspire 2 with X5s Camera, despite it's faults which were very few.. A huge huge thanks DJI for creating such an epic drone to use for this project.. Thank you for watching, don't forget that volume dial ;)

How did the two Inspires break though? I guess they malfunctioned rather than operator error?

Did you have to use some sort of ND filter on the shot with the Lighthouse at night to balance it with the sky or was there enough detail in the exposure that you could bring it back in post?

Hi Mike,

I'm pretty sure I used no ND filter and just increased the f.stop for the night ones.. the 45mm is great for that. If I did use an ND it would've been a CP or ND4. ProRes allows for a lot of error, which I knew I'd make plenty of so hence the purchase, it's a great format to work with. Cheers

In answer to your question :
Both had the same error "Camera Sensor Error" "Air Encoder Error" signal from camera disappears and everything else worked.. I'm not sure exactly but my guess is they picked up a knock somewhere and circuitry came loose? I did a fair amount of bumpy travel off-road and I don't think hiking with the inspires is wise, I was always very careful though and had all protective measures. These birds probably best to be helicoptered to the top of mountains rather than hike, or maybe I was just unlucky.
