Hi guys, I just bought an Ipad mini 4 wifi version. I went to fly today and there is some issue about the homepoint.
The position is not correct. As you can see in the picture below, the homepoint was set in the sea and the correct position
is in the seashore. How can I fix it? If I hit RTH will it return to the sea or the correct position (seashore) in this case?
BTW, I did turn the WIFI on by connecting hotspot from my smartphone and all firmwares are updated.

My guess is that the map shore line and not accurate. Did you try it in satellite view and did it look correct while flying.  It also appears you are in Hong Kong, so I don't know how accurate your maps are there. I notice yesterday when review my flight log, that it show my Mavic flight track about 20 feet off line from where I know I flew it. I had flown right over my garage but the track was thru the woods, 20 feet north of my garage and I know I didn't fly thur the woods.  So if you marked your home point on dry land they the map image is in error.

Yes, I tried the satellite view and it's the same. I just checked the coordinate of the homepoint shows (22.197350, 114.139400) in google map and it's correct. So I think the homepoint is correctly set but somehow the map is shifted... I used LG G6 to fly about 10 times before and there is no such problems.

Is this right position?

Yes, that's the correct position. I think the map is somehow shifted in my Ipad. I synced the previous flight records to check in the ipad and the position is all shifted. It's correct in my LG G6 phone.

In General Settings is the map settings right for China Mainland? Think both settings has to be on.

Yes, checked that already. It's turned on. Really don't know where's the problem???

Yes, the setting is the same as the LG G6.

I just delete and reinstall the GO4 app and the problem seems fixed. Thank you for your help.

Glad it is working for you now. Otherwise your feet would be getting wet

Hi sir, glad to hear that you get it resolved now. And just warm prompt, if are you located in Hong Kong, you don't need to switch on the Map coordination, it is only for Mainland China. Maybe it is the reason. Have a nice day.
