I don't see why turning off Obstacle Avoidance can effect the speed traveling upwind.
The quad has no idea whether it's traveling upwind, downwind or crosswind. And, I don't believe any of the sensors can detect it either.
I'd sure like an explanation.
Thanks for the video. Interesting about the signal loss around trains. Much easier to switch to Sport mode than fiddle around with turning off OA to get home quickly, in my opinion.
From page 11 of the manual
"When forward obstacle sensing are disabled...the maximum flight speed is 36mph"
Im assuming obstacle sensing only works up to 22mph, so with the sensor disabled, speed is allowed to go to 36mph since the sensor is not being used.
