I am assuming the X5R can work without the SSD being inserted and recording only to the SD card, will the SD card also record raw video? Is the video recorded to the SD card any different in quality to the video recorded on an X5 is the rate the same for both cameras using only the SD card? What is the SD card size limit? Also, does the SSD require the reader to extract the video or is there a USB port on the camera that will deliver video from the SSD?
Hi, sir. For your first question, SD card can not record raw video.
Secondly, SD card will save the original videos which follow the camera setting. If you use only SD card, you can not shoot raw videos.
Please note that when you shoot raw videos, SD cards will save 4k videos while raw videos in SSD card.
X5R can support 64 G SD card.
Thirdly, you can not use USB port to export the RAW videos, please use reader instead.
