A case for the RC and Mavic, ND filters are very nice too. Also, a landing pad is a must for launching in a grass field.

best thing I bought to date is the gimbal lock/lens cover for 6 bucks. The gimbal lock the Mavic comes with is horrible.

If you wish to unlock the left and right pan of the gimble, buy the DJI Goggles...

Goggles...takes it to a completely different level

I read this as unless you live in California they don't offer it anywhere else.

No anyone can buy it except as stated above there may be a few states that don't offer it, most do. I don't have any State Farm policies except my drones, actually insured both my Mavic & P4P under the same policy for the same price as insuring a single drone. $75 USD for me.

The ones that I use all the time:
- Helipad - for both grass and, now, snow, take-offs. Also great for taking of the places, where dust or sand can be stirred up into the air by the prop wash.
- loc8tor tag attached to the bird. Already helped me once to quickly find the bird after a meeting with a tree
- ND filters. Ranges from 8 to 32 would be most useful. Use 4 only very rarely
- Stick protector for the RC
- Combined camera cover with gimbal holder, replacing the clear dome and the separate gimbal holder
- White cree strobe light for better visibility
- Sun shade. When the Sun is low and you film at about 90 degrees to the sun, and especially with ND filters on, helps to eliminate flares and reflections in the lens.
- A short coiled USB-to-Lightning cable. For when the RC connector plays up, it's handy to be able to quickly attach the phone using the big USB port.

The ones that I have, but yet to make use of:
- Rotor guard (not the cage). Still good to have about if you plan/happen to fly in the confined environment

The ones that I stopped using:
- Leg extenders. It interfered with downward VPS, causing automatic landing to start when pulling the left stick down.
- Skid protector. Was plain and simple in the way of both the sensors and the hood mounting.

All you need in my opinion is ND filters and extra batteries.

nice to have:
Controller Stick protector
Landing Pad.

I personally found having a dedicated device for your Go 4 app is nice.

I ended up getting these 64GB SanDisk Extreme Pro, PGY-Tech Accessories combo, Polar Pro DJI Mavic Pro Filters - Cinema Series 6-Pack and the official DJI Mavic Pro Remote Controller Monitor Hood.
I'll probably end up getting a Lowepro DroneGuard BP 250 or 200, as the DJI bag that comes with in is a little snug IMO.
