Using new 8331 propellers on Mavic Pro hitting the body

Recently purchased the new blades and love the new look and certain noise reduction however they seem to be hitting the front left of the body and the top of the arm. I can hear it contacting the quad (when in ear shot) but only when decending at full throttle while flying forward. I use the Mavic Pro a lot and have had no issues with the original propellers and so have gone back to them in the mean time. I was really wondering if anyone else has this issue and/or has found a way to stop it damaging the body? edit - the drone has never been crashed or damaged in anyway

Has anyone else noticed this? I'm surprised it can happen, as I'd have though the props were not that much different in length compared to the original. I am looking at getting a set for travel, so as to be more discrete when using the Mavic, but hitting the body isn't a great thing.

BTW, the prop isn't bent, is it?

No problems using the 8331’s on my Platinum but the clearance is MM’s from the main hull of the Mavic. First I’ve seen this. Did you buy the props from DJI or a third party via Amazon/EBay?

Odd. I've been flying with my 8331 for close to 3 weeks now and don't a single scratch on the body. Did you purchase the props from a reputable reseller?

I was wondering that, it also looks like the trailing edge as well, very strange.

While I didn't have that issue, I chose to stop using the 8331 propellers. While I liked the noise reduction, I chose to take a little more noise in order to have piece of mind. The 8331 propellers seemed way too flimsy for my tastes.

I think in the photo the prop is off and upside down so your seeing the area on the bottom of the prop that is rubbing.

Hi Vincent, so according to your observation, it only happens when descending at full throttle while flying forward, it is normal with other controls, right? I will forward your case to our engineers to confirm, will get back to you once I hear from them, and thank you for bringing us the attention.

Question, where did you get the props, are they DJI or second market. Where you flying in sport mode. one or both of those issues could cause this.

I bought them from the DJI store so think they are OEM

Should have mentioned that the picture with the propeller in has the propeller removed and is showing the underside chafing. And these propellers are from the DJI store. The propeller doesn't seem to be bent when comparing to the back right (same prop)

Hi sir, an update here, may we know where do you fly the drone, the altitude of the environment as well as the temperature? The info is needed. Thank you so much.

Hi, Vincent, I got an update from our engineers: it seems the loose of the related part. Please check the arms and motors and the motors mounting plates and see if there is anything working loose.
Please send it back for an overall check, please fill in some info on our online repair link of our official web and then send it back. Here is the link: https://repair.dji.com/en/SelfRepair/Area
Or please avoid the way of flight which causes the issue. Thank you.

I had the same, BUT wit props both from Amazon - Definitely Fake - on a box, there was no DJI sign, but "for Mavic...". Put the second set of originals and have No problem!

Are these actual props from the actual DJI store or DJI Authorized dealer? A lot of fake DJI props are being sold so be careful.

Not noticed this before and I have had mine on my Mavic since purchase. very odd indeed.
