I'm annoyed at the drop of frames (lag) I see on CrystalSky!

I'm using CS in Inspire 1 and with DJI Go 3. As soon as I opened it for the first time I noticed that the lag is very strong. In the iPad the image is much more fluid and almost in real time.

After searching a lot on the internet I found the tip: Force the DJI Go 4 stop in "Settings / Apps / All / DJI Go 4> Force stop"

This improves a bit, but it's still not like on the iPad. This made me very disappointed. I bought an official DJI product and I have no improvements at work.

See the video. In a rudimentary way I measured how long it takes for my thumb to rise and how long it takes for it to rise on the iPad screen and on CrystalSky.

Wow that's awful. If Apple made a super bright iPad it'd put CrystalSky out of the market.

I've been fighting issues with my CS for over 4 months now....sorely disappointed with this overpriced Android tablet.

Yes. I flew yesterday and it's the same.

This is normal? Does this also happen on the DJI Go 4?

I made a new video to show the difference of the ipad. See in the timer that there is a greater delay in Crystalsky than in the ipad.

Even though it's a few milliseconds, notice after the 10 seconds of testing as the movement of my hand is much more fluid in the ipad than in the Crystalsky.

It looks like DJI Go 4 runs in the background even if I do not open it. When I shut it down the video gets a bit more fluid in the DJI Go app.

Not surprising about the DJI GO apps ….

Many on the DJI Dashboard Mod and Slack forums contend that one reason the DJI GO apps demand such really high system resources is that these apps continuously attempt to communicate with DJI servers to transfer user information back and forth to the mothership.

If true, DJI obviously considers getting this data worth the price of degraded app performance.

Does the version of Android OS on your CS allow you to see what processes and services the monitor is running?

If so, it’d be interesting to see if you can permanently force stop the DJI GO apps or whether they spring back to life after repeated manual attempts to force stop them.

Today I received back my Inspire 2 and I was able to test it using Crystalsky. Everything perfect on Inspire 2.

I am slow on image only using Inspire 1.

Is anyone else still having trouble with this.
I have a 5.5 CS running on version 02.05.00.00.
Video on the CS using both Mavic Pro & Air is patchy and laggy. Maybe wrong terminology but looks  like large areas are randomly picscilaing,
ThePro & Air have current firmware:
CS is connected to RC by USB to bottom of RC. Have tried to micro USB on CS but still the same.
Video on both Pro & Air SDs are perfect

I have the same trouble . Sometimes, dji go 4 disconnects. At that moment, I use the button "return home".

Have you got "focus peaking" or "over exposure warning" turned on, this slows down the GPU on the CS causing lag.

Try turning off all the special camera settings.

Try 5.8 ghz on the MA, the MP only works on 2.4ghz

I've turned off the focus peaking.

I flew for one hour today two batteries. And there wasn't a single glitch in the monitor, no glitches, no errors, no latency, no pixelation.

I've found that turning off the wifi on the crystal sky seems to help speed up the video stream too.

Thanks for the wifi tip, turning off WIFI while flying helped fix my issue.

Already the update of the last firmware in the CS was worse in the problem of delay in the images and to be disconnected of mavic in flights intercalados today for the first time the black image remained during the flight and did not recover the image more nor after taking the battery.

Sorry about this. May I have the version number of current CS and APP? Regarding the live video issue, could you upload a short sample video for better assistance? We'd like to check the exact status.

Yes i have the same issue: latency and lag on display on every flight this happens on latest version V02.06.06.00 and DJI GO 4 version 4.2.16. I used Mavic Pro and Spark, all the same.

Display lag appears at the beginning after take-off and after 3-4 minutes passes. Sometimes lags were 2 times for one flight. Latency is constantly. During flights sometimes freezes DJI GO 4.

I have not had any problems since I started using the screen with Inspire 2. I only had problems with the lag in Inspire 1.

Just got an update from our engineers that they suggest to upgrade the App to V4.2.20 to see whether it works, you may refer the below and have a try:

Steps to update the DJI GO/DJI GO 4 App separately:
1. While there is an update available for the built-in DJI GO/DJI GO 4 App, you will see a "Download" icon appear as below( CrystalSky needs to be connected to the internet first): 1.png
2. Click "Me" and it will pop up the release note of new DJI GO/DJI GO 4 App

3. Click "Update" and follow the instructions to upgrade the App to the latest

4. If it didn't show the "download" icon on "Me", you might go to DJI GO/DJI GO 4 App> "Me"> "Settings" and click "Check for Update", then follow the step 2 and step 3 to upgrade.

Sorry for the late response. Double checked with our engineers, the system issue has been fixed, please kindly refresh and update later.
The DJI GO 4 in CS is customized for the OS and the stability can be ensured, so we suggest to update from CS directly. Hope for your understanding.

Hello again
I updated for DJI 4.2.20 on my CrystalSky Ultra, but the problem display lags (half squares) did not go anywhere (see pic).
When drone is fly near from me (no more than 5 meters distances from remote controller) display lags appears at the beginning after take-off and after about 2 minutes passes, for longer distances that lags occurs less frequently.
I noticed that lag starting with firmware v02.06.03.00, previously V02.05.00.00 firmware working perfect.
A complete reset did and not once, and it did not change anything.
How to return firmware V02.05.00.00???

Delays also remained.
The compass also jumps, does not stand still (calibration was done and successfully calibrated).

Noticed strange thing:
Remote controller is connected via USB cable with CrystalSky.
When I Switch Off the CrystalSky and after same the remotecontroller, CrystalSky turns on automatically.

Inspire 2/CS 7.85U/Cendence all at latest level with CS GO 4 app at 4.2.20 with same problems as above and several more including out of date maps that can't be used.. Last occurrence the lag started at launch and several minutes into flight received message that Launch and Go4 were not responding and did I want to cancel. Very fortunate to get bird to ground.  Screen grab did not even work to fulfill problem data gathering task. No mission logs on entire flight. Do the words Product Test exist in the Chinese language?
