Unfortunately I decided to return it after 3 wonderful flights.
There is a very strict proposal that will be discussed Q1 2018 in our government.
If that is going to become law I am very limited in flying options around me.

Lets hope you can get airborne soon ;-)

That is harsh - now I see why you sold it! Kind of pointless with those limitations. Hopefully they'll relax it a bit - nothing wrong with 400' and VLOS.

I really hope so too.

We don't handle snow well in NL.....
Even 5cm is causing for a total disruption of our transportation system....

Well I guess it is always a good excuse to stay home and enjoy the simple things until it melts...I love snow and snow time but admittedly driving in it can be a pain.
I spent several winters in North Dakota and while I wouldn't say the snow laid a lot, it blew in to Minnesota, the drifts could get quite large and the cold, the cold was down right brutal and dangerous.  So like most things, too much of a good thing is not always a good thing

Yes, it is a pitty.
There are also rumors EU wide drone rules will be less strict. But they are only in first stage.
So it is a game of wait and see for now.

Its a shame to takes so long for these rules to be made up. Rather know, before I spend money on a Mavic

I feel the same indeed.
Until then I will have fun with my Osmo Mobile and try new ways of using it (just like the one posted in this thread )

The snow is all gone and as you see, the iPhone SE had some issues coping with the high dynamic range.
