Last weekend we had (for Dutch measures) a lot of snow and on a afternoon walk I found out I could perfectly use the DJI Osmo Mobile for a vertical panorama.
The steady and straight motion provided by moving the joystick was perfect for the iOS camera app.
After a few tries I managed to make it all the way to the back where you start to see the trees from behind.
When viewing this picture, it almost looked like some branches grow out of heaven

(no filters, image comes straight out of my iPhone SE)

Indeed. Just get a decent amount of light and contrast and even the iPhone will do

I know Montfrooij bought and sold a Mavic recently - just an innocent question to see if he may get another and not intended to be in relation to the shot which I have already said is fantastic.

Yes indeed, but he returned it only with many tears in his eyes because stricter drone legislation was under discussion in his country. Thus we should avoid throwing salt into a fresh and very painful wound I believe.

Unfortunately I decided to return it after 3 wonderful flights.
There is a very strict proposal that will be discussed Q1 2018 in our government.
If that is going to become law I am very limited in flying options around me.
You will have to keep 50m distance from about anything man made (horizontally) and can only fly 50m high.

That is harsh - now I see why you sold it! Kind of pointless with those limitations. Hopefully they'll relax it a bit - nothing wrong with 400' and VLOS.
