just updated to the latest firmware, dji 1.00.0800, running the app version 4.1.18 on my IPhone 7, and now when I connect the OTG cable to my remote it will continuously connect and disconnect over and over again, cycling between connected and disconnected about very two seconds, until it loses connection altogether. It will do this even if the phone Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is off.
This is a new OTG cable I got off amazon that previously worked. I’m guessing it’s the update. Can anyone confirm?

As long DJI is telling us, "they working on the issue", I wait for a firmware and a App WITH OTG functionality!

I still dont understand the system to push people to connect a phone/tablet via wifi to a device in 5cm distance, but in the same moment telling us to switch off all other wifi devices around you because of possible interferences!!

OTG was never recommended with the spark according to DJI.

using iPhone 7 with iOS 11.2, Dji 4.1.18 and latest firmware 1.0.08 - otg cable still working great here

Make sure your on iOS 11.2, dji app doesn’t work properly with iOS 11.1

But it was working on androids before 4.1.18.
And still is, with 4.1.14/15

But if any problems occur don't blame DJI.

I updated the firmware and I can confirm that the OTG cable works on the Android DJI Go 4 ( Version 4.1.15), however at the first time I was unable to connect, the app was running oddly. At first the icon 'RC Connected' confirms that is plugged ok, but when I push the 'Fly' button, the next HUD display said it was Disconnected. After stopping the app a few times, it worked ok.

I have updated the firmware and I can confirm that I still can connect to the AC with my OTG on app version 15, have not tried to fly yet but everything seemed to be ok.

Same here. Waiting to test flight.  .15 app w/ otg and latest spark firmware

iPhone 6 via OTG, new firmware, old App – works great. Best picture transfer I've ever had. Wi-Fi is also good, but by far not as over OTG. However, only in my office. Lot of Wi-Fi and BT mice here...

Ok just ended test flight on new firmware and app version 15 and everything is just working fine.

Thanks for reporting back.  Guess we roll up to 0800 FW then.  

Im really hoping when .22 of the app drops they have given us back otg telemetry for android.

Did a flight test this week, v4.1.18 all wifi - only got 400m before low signal warnings popped up, then full disconnect and rth at 800m out.   Went to otg and v4.1.15 I got out to 2500m.  This is a CE region FYI.  

I wish the fanboys would stop telling us that we dont need OTG ... GRRRRR

hi, i am using a samung s8 and iphone 8, bothe are on Dji Go4 4.1.18 and both phones use the OTG cables fine, check out a site called https://nolimitdronez.com. i tried this ysterday and no issues, has better distance, video feed, you can toggle between wifi channels 2.4 and 5.8ghz as well.
