Do you have a video?

One damaged prop, possibly something up with one of your sticks on the RC?

Try calibrating your compass in the open away from electrical sources and metal.

Edit: AlanHd already suggested that so +1  :-)

An uncalibrated compass will not cause it to rotate slowly.
More likely that the rc needs to be calibrated.
Can you upload the flight log we may be able to determine the cause from that. You should never need to calibrate your compass unless the app asks you to do so.

Hi Stuka, there are many possibilities and the troubleshooting will be helpful to verify the exact status. Does the issue appear in every flight? How about the flying environment or GPS signal? Please be more specific, we'd like to help.

It must have been a day with bad satellite reception .... after several days of observation, the erratic movements have not returned. Thanks to all and happy and legal flights

GPS issues will not cause a Phantom to rotate but might make it drift a little.
Rotation is an inability to maintain heading and is going to be due to a compass issue.
It can be caused by hovering in a magnetic field like close above a steel roof.
