Hi everybody. I am a professional Photographer and working with the Phantom 4 pro. I try to find a solution to make 360 spherical panoramic photos (not Video!). The manuell way is not working good. I know I have to stitch the pictures with a special software ( I have this allready. I know there are some apps like DronePan and RCPano. BUT all of theme are not working with the phantom pro. Anzybody can help me with a solution? Maybe DJ will soon upgrade the software? Maybe somebody try to connect an iPhone ore iPad to the remote? I really apriciate any answer and help in english or German.

This reply does not mean that DJI will add the feature, it simply means she will pass on your request. Don't hold your breath.

It's good that we have a voice to the engineers, who can sometime implement our wishes. ;-)

Some of the cheaper ones has that feature, not sure if both Mavic and Spark can do it.

I think You're better of by doing it manually, you claimed in OP that you're professional so shouldn't be a problem and increase chances for a good result.

I understand your feeling. It takes some time to get the feedback, and I'm sure the time frame as well. If you need this feature urgently, you may consider to to stitch manually for now.

Litchi will take the photos, you can set the definition the number of pictures per rotation and the number of rows. I stitch the pics with PTGui, it is versatile, very automated and fast. Both are commercial but not expensive.

found out that there is an upgrade today which promise new panorama mode, I have done the upgrude, but so fat dont know how it worksand if it works with the phantom 4 pro plus?

It needs the latest versions of the APP and the FW should work for the P4+

Yes indeed the new DJI GO 4 has a new update, you need to delete your old app and download the new one, login and download the update for the ac. It took me a minute or two to find the settings, they are under the camera settings. I have not tried it yet but will do in the following days, Litchi has more options but I have heard that the DJI solution is very good and fast.

Not unless you jailbreak it, but the DJI updates should work with the p4p+.

Hi Susan, I was so lucky to hear about the latest firmware update and the possibilty  to shoot panos. BUT I have done all the updates and dont see any way to shoot panos. Here is what I have:
Phantom 4 pro +
Remote Version 2.2.0
Drone Version 01.05.0300
When I check the internet, I can see a lot of infoas about how lucky people are to shoot now panos. Do I make something wrong, ore is all this is not working with Phantom 4 pro +? Please help, I need this for my job, not for un. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for all hte hlp here. I have now updated all the fimrware, on the remote 2.2.0 on the drone 01.05.0300. But no way to have the option to shoot panoramas? Did anybody has a Phantom 4 pro + and can shoot panos with this update?

The pro+ won't be able to do panos until they update the rc firmware again. Since they decided to be stupid and only update the GO4 app during fw updates we are constantly screwed when any new features become available to everyone else. That's what you get for giving DJI more money.

Yes, providing you do not have the p4p+, in this case you have to wait for an update for this.  I found that the app would not automatically upgrade so I had to delete it and download the newer version. No problems except you must login again and redo some of the settings for the ac. To do panoramas you must also update the ac by wire connecting this to the iPad, phone or whatever in a wifi environment.

I repeat, PANORAMA DOES NOT WORK YET WITH THE PHANTOM 4 PLUS.

Ja, vorausgesetzt, Sie haben kein p4p +, in diesem Fall müssen Sie auf ein Update warten. Ich habe festgestellt, dass die App nicht automatisch aktualisiert wird, daher musste ich sie löschen und die neuere Version herunterladen. Eventually, however the plus controller is way at the bottom of DJIs list so I don't expect to see this for at least 2-3 months. They could care less that we paid more for it.

Hi Susan, thanks a lot for this not good news. Its hard to wait so long and all other drones are allready have this option. Especially when this is part of my job and it looks like me decision to work with the P4P+ was the wrong dicision. All I realy hope is, that your engineers are working fast....
