Sorry for the late reply, I did not see your replyfor some reason. The app is rejected by DJI because the signature is not accepted, the permissions must be changed in the software, for details you must check out YouTube. Please be aware that this will negate any guarantee that you have, but it is your property to do with what you will.

Quite honestly you may be better off buying a used controller, there are often such things on ebay or local ads from people with crashed or lost drones, you need a tablet or phone as well.

Yeah I have been thinking the same it might just be easier to get a remote w/o the screen.

Thanks for all hte hlp here. I have now updated all the fimrware, on the remote 2.2.0 on the drone 01.05.0300. But no way to have the option to shoot panoramas? Did anybody has a Phantom 4 pro + and can shoot panos with this update?

No, pano mode is not supported yet by last P4P+ RC firmware.
This was explained and discussed on other similar topics and the answer is the engineers are working...

Yes, it works. You'll have to relink your aircraft with the RC for regular P4P (no built in screen) and, when want to use the RC+, relink again.

I don't need any, but when a PM say will speak to the engineers it frills me.
We wait for so long for some nevercoming bug(s) fixes that I think they must not speak the same language...

I know for some, or many here, these upcoming needed and necessary updated firmware should have been released long ago.  I can only sympathies with you, about these obvious shortcomings.

Fingers crossed, things start to move swiftly, for those.

I would not worry about those frills too much. They only add to the confusion. Ha

I have just come across this question so i apologise for my late reply. I have been shooting pano images with both the P3Pro and P4Pro since I got them, even my Spark too. I use the old fashioned method and do it manually, then process in Photoshop. I sed to be a professional photographer until illness caught up with me, and I have always found that the old ways, for me at least, are the ones that work.

Please don't stress them, we risk a release with Pano but a lot of other issues still remaining.
After all it was not advertised as having Pano features in the first place.
