Is anyone else having an issue with the Spark not keeping the proper filename count?
For example,
A Spark I bought as a spare and used infrequently got up to a file name of DJI_0020 and then the next file recorded was DJI_0001
This has happened to me several times with the same unit.
Got to 25 day before the upgrade then after, DJI_0001

Craziest thing is with no changes after the upgrade and getting that DJI_0001, I got DJI_0002 but then DJI_0001 on the very next recording.

Quite annoying!

Any help appreciated!

I am recording video and photo files.
I saw right away that panos start over in their own collection.

It is the regular video files and photo files that will not "keep" the counting up naming convention.
My other Spark does not have this issue.

Could you please refer to the video below to export the black box data for analysis? Please also provide me with some original files and some screenshots of this issue, you can upload them to the Dropbox, then provide me with a link to download them. Thank you in advance.

For me it's quite good following progressive file numbers.
Since I lost most of my flight records having the habit to take a pic every take off (with axis check) and before every landing (to celebrate his returning to owner) I'd say that having a backup of all the shots I took file timestamps remains the only reference about time flown I have.

Wonderful...it is not exporting
Just shows the progress circle but nothing is populating the WM100Export folder.
I also noted Data Upload list does not populate either.

**UPDATE**
Let it try to import for 10 minutes....progress still spinning, nothing populated

Should I be concerned I cannot download the black box data?

...I have experienced the same problem - spiining wheel but no export of black box data or no Import of data records dat files with Windows 10 (and Acer Switch Notebook). Solution would be fine if anyone knows. Thank you!

Firmware on both Sparks the same?
Same battery used?
If yes, maybe try to install the firmware again.
I just shooting in the blue here, but till you get an admin or mod to chat with you, ....

dear pmshop, did admin gave you advice - would be interesting for me as i do have same habit with Assistant 2 and spark connected, latest firmware 0800 (firmware update w/o any issue).

Yes,
Admin said to download the black box file and send.
However, the black box on the Spark in question will not download.

Could you please reinstall the DJI Assistant 2, then try to export the data again? Please also try other computers if you can. If it persists, please provide me with the flight controller log data, some original files and some screenshots of the file name issue first. Hi FXF,  please also try the steps I mentioned in the post 17#, reinstall the DJI Assistant 2, or try other computers, see if it works.

Hallo DJI Diana, thank you taking care of my "minor" problem. I did reinstall the DJI Assistant several times but that didn't solve the problem - spinning wheel resists. So i dig a little bit more in the issue and found threads here which seemed to me similar - there might be a problem with the libusb driver which showed a problem in my device manager program (I'll try to upload a screenshot)


I also tried to install the DJI Assistant 2 with the Windows 10 modus to allow non signed drivers to be installed. The procedure didn't help.
BTW - updating worked very well and smooth (I updated just some minutes ago 0900 firmware and 3 batteries)
Hope you may give additional advice.

I do not have the same driver issue as FXF.

There is nothing else to send.
Screenshot can be easily described - a series of videos/ pictures on one flight can be named DJI_0025, DJI_0026, DJI_0027, DJI_0028. Then the next flight will be named DJI_0001, DJI_0002, DJI_0003, DJI_0004

The Spark randomly restarts the naming convention.
Again, these are not panoramas. These are video files and single shot photos.

I would greatly send you the black box files but as I have stated, they will not download

And now the first Spark I have, that reached a file name of DJI_0370 yesterday now recorded file DJI_0001
This is VERY frustrating!

Black Box Files for TWO Sparks

looks like I have lost my admin help

Since the Alpine White Spark of mine is at service so My Sky Blue is picking up the slack.
I am currently at file name DJI_0134 without a reset so far.
No additional action/ troubleshooting to get it there.

Now at file name DJI_0146
But now my gimbal seems to be out of whack and will not hold adjustment.

So I am having this issue as well.  My file numbers are resetting and my gimbal keeps tilting off the horizon even though I adjust it back straight.  I have not made it anywhere near 146 not even past 50 before it resets.  Have you heard anything about a solution yet?
