Hey all, just wanted to get an idea as to how many people are experiencing issues with the latest update. I am still running FW Version 01.04.000 & Go4 App 4.1.6 (Crystal Sky). And pretty much only use Litchi with the Mini 4. Mavic flies just fine right now and want to keep it that way, just a quick poll, appreciate it

Fw: 1.4.100 and Go4 4.1.1.8 galaxy s8+ runs fantastic

I have an issue with Go v4.1.18 in that not all flight records get synced. Many people may not even realise this is happening as the flights show the cloud icon but when you compare your flight distance in the Go 4 app and this forum, it is obvious that not all flights are syncing.

DJI GO 4 v4.1.18(432-googlePlay) works on my Nexus 7ii.

"Go4 4.1.18 Android No Problems"    - which one?    DJI have put out two releases called 4.1.18 see:

they seem to do it each release - put out a version - wait for the complaints and then put out a bug fix a week or so later.

Poll only reflects update installed via wifi through DJI system reminder and/or DJI Assistant 2, no entry for variants from APK mirror.

Poll results is not surprising. I have never had a problem with my iOS devices running latest FW and GO4 software.

Apologies if its not clear from my post  - I installed both variants of 4.1.18 from the Android Play Store - The 1st resulted in pixelation on my Nexus 7.  The 2nd fixed the problem. Both displayed as 4.1.18.

I only reference the APKmirror site as proof that DJI routinely produce more than one variant of a particular numbered release.

So my question remains which one of the two 4.1.18s are you talking about in the poll?

Whatever one is provided by d/loading & updating with Assistant 2, don't know what variant that is.

On my android 6P, 8.1
I get at least one crash a flight, sometimes 2. Both controller and drone on latest firmware. Same with flight sync, I have to delete the non cloud ones to get the flights to sync successfully.

There are two variants for one single purpose: 1 for phone and 1 for tablet.

If you say so - I've not noticed any layout differences between my phone and tablet.   

I do know that after someone else mentioned that there had been a later update to the app and I found deleting and then re-installing the same version of the app cured the problems for me.

Please note. DJI GO 4 v4.1.18(432) from googlePlay for tablets. Works

no problems for the latest updates on DjiGo4 android (Galaxy Note 4 ) and Mavic

Well 59% No Problems / 19% Problems / 22% No Response = 10% convinced to update

No problems for the latest updates on DjiGo4 iOS

IOS/Latest FW ----> Checked yesterday and no issues......yet.

I selected  Mavic FW 01.04.0100 No problems and Go4 4.1.18 Android No Problems.

I do put my phone in airplane mode and use my own USB cable (connected to the bottom of the controller). I don't know if that resolves any flight issues or not. I do know that doing those two things ensures flights with no problems.

Good to know that you have no problem in flight. Please inform us if you encounter any question.

I've got 4.2.4 and I've NEVER had a problem with any of them.  Running Android 7.0

Can you upload the .txt file from your I Pad to Phantom Log Viewer, once you upload it post a link in this thread to the uploaded file so we can view it and maybe provide more help in understanding what happened.
Looks like a GPS fix was not there, also what happened to the video feed during this flight? Also looks like you had no maps loaded probably because of Sats not locked. One thing you have to remember is that the telemetry may be showing 13 satellites but that doesn't mean the AC has locked on to them, you need to wait for the "Home Point has been updated, Please check it on the map" prompt before taking off.
