Osmo mobile going crazy

I picked up an second hand osmo mobile with the zen muse m1 smartphone head. The person turned it on infront of me and it worked just fine. After bringing home and not using for 1 week, I attempted to use it yesterday and upon starting it just spins around like crazy. I balanced phone on gimbal prior to power on(IPhone 6s). Battery fully charge as well. First few times app kept saying gimbal locked, please turn to unlock. Now just keeps saying "adjust device and reboot osmo or press trigger twice. Yellow system light flashing after initial green light blink on start. ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Thank you for your response however, that was just a demo for you to see what it's doing while I record it with the phone I ACTUALLY use on the gimbal. It does exact same thing with the phone turned around as you mention. As well, I think me and you both know that the sensor not recognizing the phone does not make it go crazy like that. But im any case, problem persists and I would love a solution.

The official repair center locates in California, US, if the product is out of warranty period, you will need to pay for the repair, sorry for the inconvenience caused. If you agree, please contact our support to start a ticket: https://www.dji.com/support?site=brandsite&from=nav
There are also some recommended repair centers, you may find one closest to your location if you do not want to send to California: https://www.dji.com/service/repair/centers

terrible servicing by DJI - no repair centers in Canada and those who do call themselves repair centers only work on drones, no OSMO. for a $300+ product, this is terrible after purchase service.
