Searched and couldn't find anything on this. I have used the otg cable before and it has worked now it won't connect and is instead charging my phone when plugged in. I am pretty sure I'm doing everything in the correct order.

1. I turn on the controller and wait for light to stop blinking.
2. Plug OTG Cable into my phone (Google Pixel 2XL)
3. Plug other end of OTG cable into the controller

and at this point in the past it would launch the DJI Go4 App, but now instead just starts charging my phone. I'm currently using App version 4.1.15 and aircraft, controller, and batteries are all up to date. Any ideas on what might be going on?

Mine is and was always charging the phone with a very low current.
But it is still connecting.
Let me guess, you have updated to .800 firmware?

Edit: I am still on .701

Are you sure that you have plugged the cable in the right direction? Try it the other way round, just to be sure. With GO 4 version 4.1.15 there shouldn't be a problem using OTG.

The firmware update .800 was only for the Spark, not for the RC. Thus at least RC connectivity should not be affected as it is reported here.

It is in the right direction because my phone is usb type C and the controller is micro usb and I have updated to the .800 firmware.

Yes and without any issues. See attached screenshots (the gimbal overload message is only there because I forgot to remove the protection cap):

Hi, sir. Please note that OTG is not fully tested and I would recommend you use the wifi connection instead. Thanks a lot.
