Hi guys,

I tried to do a range test today. And somehow the signal lost in about 2200m in just a few seconds.
Just wondering is it normal? You can check the video in 5:40. All signal lost in 5 seconds???!!!

It appears the terrain got between you and the aircraft. It also appears the RTH functioned correctly.

Typically from my experience is if the copter is way out there or signal being blocked by an object. Both of which I worked my way out with altitude adjustment.

The AC and RC have to have a clear visual connection they don't work through GPS.

OMG, did you nearly crap yourself? And the RTH came so close to the hill, phew!
Delighted it all worked out for you and you got your drone back. The video was very entertaining watch as I know I wouldn't be so brave.

Yes, it's pretty scary when the image just got back. I canceled the RTH immediately.
I should have set the RTH height higher. I set 50m and I should set 80m or more.

Sometimes transmission signal loss might due to the environment interference, or there are objects in the middle of the RC and AC and long distance. In this case, we suggest trying to adjust the antennas, manually fly the drone and avoid the signal block if you can still control it.
For the environment requirement, we suggest flying the drone in an open area. Hope it provides you with some tips.
