Yes, I know you can see the P4P moving around a bit in these scenes, but it was a windy night and I was only flying about 200 feet up.. Exposure time was 3.2 seconds with the interval timer set to 5 seconds. The photos were RAW and unprocessed, directly fed into Resolve - and you will notice that in this way the cameras true wide angle lens nature shows through (fish eye - etc).  Still it was fun to make! I didn't spend a lot of time editing this - it's about as raw of a video (made from stills) as you can get.. Enjoy

A gimbal is a LOT steadier than handheld.. When you use a wide angle lens on a gimbal and take pictures from high above  of distant objects, there tends to be a lot less blur due to movement than you would think as well. These cameras are very steady even in the wind..

I would if I wanted to go that far with it.. I was just playing around.. I have done that with previous time lapse sessions. It does help a lot.. This one was just sorta thrown together.. I am trying different settings all the time. I wish I had changed the color temperature in some parts though (especially the parking lot scene).

What I like about doing these types of shots is that the noise level is very low because you can set your ISO very low. These machines are extremely stable (maybe not over minutes which you can see in these scenes), but over the span of several seconds..  This enables you to get some amazing shots that you wouldn't even be able to visualize with the naked eye.. I am going to try to post something in the very near future to show what I am talking about.
