Luckily for some of you guys who live in the South or West side of the US of A or in a country where the weather is beautiful all year around and can fly whenever you like without being uncomfortable. Not so lucky for me - much too cold here on the North East. Ouch ! Flew the P4P at 35 degrees because I just had to fly - I must be an insane DJI fanatical pilot.

I think I was out there in the frigid temps for about an hour and half when I couldn't take it anymore. It just became too uncomfortable and went home.
I'd like to fly all year around but doesn't look that way. Can't wait for the Spring to kick in.

I agree 100%, I'm a real wuz when it comes to cold, my idea of a white Christmas is sand on a tropical beach. I bought a Spark for when the weather is bad, I flew 4 batteries around inside the house last night.

Recently returned from Lapland, quite above the Arctic Circle.
My P4P+ flown seamlessly at -25ºC (I think -13ºF).
Not the same happened with the RC+ which was turning crazy, changing my settings randomly, connecting intelligent fly modes without asking for, etc.
Got some great footage which will be posted soon.
Unfortunately was unable to record the Northern Lights, were too fast for drone's camera, perhaps some other forum fellow had more luck on Auroras...

For a fellow Candian, you aren't very hardy!!
You only need to acclimatize yourself, to get used to the cold.

Been so warm here in central Alberta, most of our snow has dissapeared.
At this rate, we will have a brown Christmas, unless it snows over the weekend...

We are blessed with the Aurora Borealis light shows, that frequently happen late at night.
It's great that they bring so much attention and good fortune to those who believe in their power.

I actually bought RealFlight Drone. My son 'borrowed' it several months ago, I should probably ask for it back sometime.

Yes, he has Borrowed it? Hahaha

Were you actually expecting it returned? Perhaps it's time to mention your desire of it, in passing.

I love it. The updates made it even more of a great tool.
Yes, with the new drones they added, in the free improved version. Awesome.

I bought it particularly to practice flying the Voltage 500 3D. Before crashing the real version. ;-)

That's a do not touch area, of my interests. Sorry, no can do...

Look only, but never leave a finger print. Haha.

You might need to take an assertiveness course, & learn to say No!!

Not that surprised. My wife and I went to LA and Santa Monica a couple of years ago in May and we had to wear jackets. I thought I'd be wearing t-shirts.

Well, I live near San Francisco, quite a bit north of LA.  And you probably have heard the quote, falsely attributed to Mark Twain:  “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.”  He may not have said it, but it's true.  ;)

. I'll take that anytime. Rather have that than sub-freez temps all bundled up when I could enjoy flying near a beach on a nice beautiful warm day.

Southern Ontario is still seemingly decent.  Nothing to cold yet, it’s kinda nice being south of the prominent US border, lol.
