(Braking now! Return sticks
to midpoints first.)

This happens in the academy training
and now it happening on my real flights,
anyone have any ideas as to why this
might be happening?

Thanks!

On your real flights:
Did the message pop up while flying towards low sun? The sun can distract vision sensors.
If it happens again, switch to sports mode and see what happens. Sports mode deactivates the vision sensors.

I have the P4P. I think the only difference is that you don't have the infrared side sensors.
Your error message is discussed in lots of threads pointing out vision sensor problems with sun.

I had it once when I flew below a bridge. My guess is that it was due to a short loss of GPS.
In any case when that message pops up: Release the sticks for a moment. Don't hold on to them.

Its not just the sun, cloud, fog (thats cloud too lol) mist, rain, snow and as said previously, the sun,  anything that the sensors can pick up on will cause this to happen
If safe to do so and its causing a problem to flight, just disable them temporarily

Hi Josephayay, was there any obstacles in front of the drone? If not, please check whether there are some foreign objects on the Forward Vision Lens and clean the lens. You can also connect the aircraft to the PC and perform Vision Calibration via DJI Assistant 2.
