There is no way to save photos (taken by mavic) in the camera roll of my iphone x. Dji go 4 has access to photos but not to camera. Any solutions?

I don't think there is currently any good solution to access your drone photos and videos with the camera roll option. But I hope I'm wrong! I've been trying to figure that out months hoping there might be a DJI Go App update to solve that. Let's see what happens!

Have you tried this?

Go to Editor, Album, Photos, then click on the photo you want to save. Click the download logo on the bottom left hand corner.
If you can't do that, then it should be a bug in iPhone X.

Yes, I can download photos to camera roll, but I can’t save them directly there.
A friend of mine has an iPhone 7.  In the apps allowed to access the camera he has Dji go. Not the same for me.

A friend of mine can save the photos directly in camera roll (iPhone 7).
In his phone, dji has permission to use camera ad i saw in his settings. Not so in mine (see attach).

Sorry for misunderstanding your question.

I checked my ipad mini and it has camera permission for the GO4 apps.
But the pictures taken from the mavic pro is not directly stored in camera roll.

Hi, the pictures will not save to the local album directly, and you need to download them manually. If you can manually save it to the album, then no worries, there is no problem with the app.

I was using a Samsung Galaxy Note8 with DJI Go 4, and the pictures and videos automatically transferred into my photos. Sadly, the Note8 is no longer compatible and my ipad mini 4 does not automatically transfer.

Hi there, yes, iOS and Android have different operating system thus they are not the same.
May I know the details of your Note 8? I suspect it is a Samsung Note 8, right? Please tell me more details, I will try to help.

On my "old " iPhone 7 photos did transfer automatically to Camera Roll. This does not happen an new iPhone XS. I have tried 2 other devices (iPads Air 2 (iOS 11.4)  and iPads Pro (iOS 12). The iPad on iOS 11.4 is fine as "normal" and has camera access. The iPad on iOS 12 has not and does not transfer photos automatically to Camera roll. Yes, you can manually transfer them, but I personally like the cameral for a quick look.
