my brand new spark will not link with either my phone or controller (came with) and has solid red lights.  Fully charged can see both spark and controller in my wifi but unable to connect...
Please help at my wits end..  have tried holding start button on spark for 9seconds, it flashes green then goes back to solid reds..

When I hold pause and fn buttons on controller and hold startup button for 3 seconds the lights go green then return to solid red.

It sounds like you haven't set the Spark up for linking, after you have set the controller into linking mode, you have to press the Spark power button for 3 seconds until it beeps.

When the controller goes solid green and the spark starts to flash green then they are connected.

You may have to pair the controller and spark again, follow these steps, the spark and the controller have to be within 20cm of each other



You should be connecting your phone to the Spark RC via wi-fi and then opening the DJI Go4 app when connected

This is the thing they were all linked up.  I have followed the above and they are still solid red lights.  Very frustrating..  
Would there be any other reasons for solid red lights?

The controller goes flashing green with am alarm sounding when I do the above, the spark flashes green but then goes back to solid red..
