I want to know your opinion about the next Dji Mavic Pro 2 or what do you want like features in this drone?

I'd be ok with the Mavic Pro 2 just being the Mavic Pro 1 where everything worked right. It's a fine design, so if all the problems with the firmware and manufacturing were fixed, it would be a really good copter. That'd be the only thing on my Mavic Pro 2 wishlist. The updated ESC's and props are a nice touch - just repair the rest of the machine and it'd be great, IMO.

Beating a dead horse, there are other threads regarding this out there.

I don't really think I will like the Mavic 2 to be honest, which is why I think the Mavic 3 is going to be better.

Honestly, jokes aside, this is like putting the cart before the horse. Let's discuss once the product is available? Otherwise it's pure speculation.

Seems to me there is already PLENTY of speculation on the extant product(s). Droners are forever dreamers, it seems 'o).

I must add that I do really enjoy this forum, and've picked up a lot of good info and cheer here. I should get my Platinum Monday or maybe Tuesday (it's here in Salt Lake fresh in this morning from NewBloodyJersey at the FEDEX depot). I've been woodshedding my butt off (without a horn, of course) and I might even be starting to remember a few things.   'o)

The current Mavic is a POS. Had mind for 10 months was exchanged 3 time due to defective gimbal. Got the last exchange back from service and sold it. Warranty runs out soon and it is 4 to 6 weeks every Time it has to go in.

This nay be a little excessive but if the 2 and the 3 are an upgrade, u can't wit to see the Mavic Pro 5! That's my lucky number.....

Two weeks!

April one 2018......

I am shopping for my first dji drone and gave the mavic pro a lot of consideration, however my sights were set on the Phantom 4 Pro for two reasons, the 20mp camera with a mechanical shutter, and more weight/more stability.  Should the Mavic Pro 2 enter the market with more structural strength and the same or better camera I would be at a loss to chose.  I'm new to drones and have only recently learned that it is far safer to fly above trees and shrubs than amongst them.  I've dinged up my practice drone , and intend to continue beating on it till I can afford a dji.

I would really like it to drop the Mavic Pro price to drop so i can afford it

Patiently waiting for this The Autel EVO -- I like the gimbal setup, looks pretty sturdy as compared to the Mavic's, it will be Mavics competitor as many of the features & camera spec's are the same.

Then you better give up the drone hobby because in the very near future all drone manufacturers will be "spying" as you put it.  DJI is just "ahead of the game" and smart.

The Mavic 4 is the best!  It will have a three inch sensor and flies 60mph! It makes a great cup of coffee too. For those winter flights!
