I’m going to the Philippines with my mavic pro. Does anyone know if I can carry that on or should check it in. I’m going to drain the batteries if that makes it more safe.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

drain the batteries up to 30% and transport together with the drones in your hand bag NOT IN THE CHECK-IN BAG(Cargo bag), the propeller must be in check-in baggage because are like knifes and they will confiscate you if they are in your hand bag

and read this -> http://www.iata.org/whatwedo/car ... hium-batteries.aspx
                          http://www.iata.org/whatwedo/car ... -battery-update.pdf

then search for Philippines Drones Reglementations
