What gimbal calibration issue? Mine worked just fine after the firmware update...

So can anyone confirm that this new update sets RTH automatically and doesn't allow you to abort?

so....iso stuck at 500 in d-log mode not fixed.....pfffffffff

I was wondering about that...glad to know it's not just me.  I'd like to use d-log, but not at ISO 500.

Well that's crap because most times the RTH brings you back way early., I also lost ALL PHOTO MODES except single.

Firmware issues

Can someone just confirm that there was no update to the Remote Controller on the P4P with this update? My P4P aircraft updated fine but the Remote Controller did not ask to be updated.

Yes, I had the same problem. I get finished at the first time, but when I tried again the calibration stopped in 50%.

You used ios or android? if you use android, u can install app latest https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/dj ... o-4-4-1-22-release/ (app 4.1.22) and test able to obort RTH or not.

Gimbal calibration worked with DJI GO 4 App Android : V 4.1.22

Great update - now my Phantom 4 does not stream video to my controller. Not really well designed process either.

Uploaded no problems.  Now only flies in "safe", slow mode, no matter which mode of control I switch to.  Any suggestions?  Love the added PANO mode.  look forward to trying it... if I can get the speed issue resolved first.

Sorry for the "double post".  Wifi is turtle-slow here in the Philippines.
I did find the "Multiple Modes" setting that was for some reason turned off.  When I clicked it to "on" (green switch), I had Atti and Sport mode.
LOVE THE PANORAMIC photos I took tonight!  A nice Christmas bonus to go with my new DJI harness and landing pad.  Thank you, DJI.  

Just gotten around to trying out GO v4.1.20 with both my P4 (running latest beta) and P4P (running this new prod). Both flew fine, with the exception of some jerkiness and not quite finding Home on RTH - both were about 1/2 metre off. But the day was windy, so I'll try again when wind is less.

Otherwise, GO reported High Wind with the P4P and used craft Precision Landing when coming down under RTH  (but it stopped as it was slightly off point, saying that the location had changed). GO with P4 didn't report High Wind, nor did the craft say it was using Precision Landing.  I thought the P4 had Precision Landing now too - I'll have to check that. I also noted that there were no transmission break-ups, but they weren't long flights.

I then tried Litchi with the P4, and I could swear that the P-mode speed was faster than when flying with DJI GO. The S-mode speed was much the same between the two (fast). Has DJI nobbled P-mode speed to give obstacle sensing a chance to do its thing, I wonder?

Lol my video feed stopped working after this firmware update... how do I fix it?

Well, that was an interesting experience. The gimbal ground itself over to one side, shook like a dying fish then did the same on the other side. Then it ground around, went limp, came back to life and sorted of righted itself at an angle. I will fly it tomorrow and see if St Nick has brought us a late Christmas present or whether Krampus has reared his ugly head.

Jenee, just to verify, is the firmware upgrade successful? During the update, the gimbal camera may not work well, it is a normal issue which will not affect the gimbal's functionality. Please make sure the update is successful and test the performance.

Tim, the latest Android DJI GO 4 V4.1.22 has been released at a staged rollout, and it will be available soon, please check later.

I Loaded the new update, and on the second flight pack, "RTH" engaged without pilot command - tried to cancel and would not cancel and missed Home Point LZ horizontal position by 10 feet, battery depleted and had to hand catch by my homes roof line at the rain gutters as it hovered til flight pack totally spent! Successful hand catch and downgrade to service pack 04.

Hi Susan, the gimbal was only strange during the firmware update and the update finished successfully. I have now flown a few times and there are no further problems. Thanks.

I flew today with no problems. My Phantom was one of those with the gimbal issue so it was probably throwing a hissy fit with the firmware update.
Apart from that, there were no problems flying and the gimbal was good. Well, when I say good, it still tips the horizon when turning but has always done that and I can modify my flying to mostly eliminate it.
The pano, including the sphere were all good and were not blown out like with the Mavic.No problems with RTH, still accurate to within a couple of inches. Flew 3 batteries and all good.

Good to know. I'll be updating as well but not flying until much later so the jury is still out.

DJI Susan, I feel us P4P+ owners get cheated due to no additional screen options, now we must wait longer for Android updates after normal P4P users get first love....is there a plan in the pipeline to give P4P+ users a chance to swop out their + remotes for no fixed screen remote at no additional cost?
