Is there a way we can set the camera to do Focus Lock w/out focus lock?  Whenever I hit AE lock, I believe focus is locked as well.

Focus lock?  what are you talking about?

bostonlines I believe that the camera is fixed focus only.

I belive the AE setting is only for exposure lock.
Inspire 1 camera doesn't focus, DOF is from 1-2m  to infinity.

Makes sense. The reason why I ask is because whenever I use AE, the trees are always blurry in the foreground. Without AE, everything is clear.

Locks the exposure in Auto mode.  The lens is fixed focus
