Is it just the normal activation for me or is there more steps in getting this in my name?

You can’t transfer the registration but you can fly it under your DJI account with no problems.

Okay for flying. It would be nice to get registration in my name. I may call or email DJI Support.

Don't waste your time, they have no idea and cannot change it anyway.

Actually you should use a little time on this.
For some it seem to be important that they can un-register a craft they don't own anymore, and for other it seem to matter for them that they have the icon(s) on their profile showing their equipment and without some solution for this it will never become possible.

If all just listen to Geebax's advice nothing will ever change, possibly it won't anyway but at least the one with the need has given a notice to DJI about it.

I have the same problem. The icon of my used PH3S does not appear in my profile. I tried everything without success.
could a dji administrator help us? thank you
